The Break is one of the most important shots in the game is the break shot. Those who master this will control the flow of the game. Bank shots can certainly get you out of trouble or better control what the cue ball does after the shot. Position play is key to running a rack out. Combo shots can help you end a 9-ball rack early or help you break out a straight pool cluster out. When your opponent plays a monster defense shot Kick shots will often get you out of a jam. In fact, it can be used to return with a defense of your own. Jump shots can short cut your way out of a defensive hook by your opponent. Even if it is a highly debated shot type among top players. Defense Shots often are the most overlooked shot for amateur players. The pros exercise this shot type in every match. A way to control an undesired outcome on the table to try and get the control back. This shot type is key to winning high level matches.
