Rack IQ (“Rack IQ,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) provides the Rack IQ website located at rackiq.app, the Rack IQ mobile application, and related services (collectively, the “Services”). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, retain, and protect personal information and the rights and choices available to you.

Gameplay, performance, and improvement data
- Match results and session information.
- Player statistics, performance trends, shot or skill data, strengths, weaknesses, and related scoring or ranking outputs.
- Leaderboard or rating data generated through your use of the Services.
Technical and usage data
- Device, operating system, app version, browser type, and language settings.
- IP address, timestamps, log records, and security-related event data.
- Diagnostic, crash, or error information generated when you use the Services.
Sources of personal information
We collect personal information directly from you, automatically from your device or browser when you use the Services, and from activity generated within the Services.

- Calculate skill levels, rankings, strengths, weaknesses, and performance insights.
- Respond to questions, support requests, and feedback.

4. Legal Bases for EEA / UK / Switzerland
If you are located in the EEA, UK, or Switzerland, we process personal data on one or more of the following legal bases:
- Contract: to provide the Services you request, including account features, rankings, and gameplay analysis.
- Legitimate interests: to secure the Services, respond to inquiries, improve performance, and operate Rack IQ responsibly.
- Consent: where we specifically ask for your consent for an optional activity. Where consent is required and relied upon, you may withdraw it at any time.
- Legal obligation: where processing is needed to comply with law or valid legal process.
5. How We Disclose Information
We do not sell personal information. We do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
We may disclose personal information only in the following limited circumstances:
- To service providers and processors that help us host, secure, support, or operate Rack IQ, such as hosting, cloud infrastructure, database, authentication, customer support, or email service providers.
- To law enforcement, regulators, courts, or other third parties when required by law or necessary to protect rights, safety, or the integrity of the Services.
- In connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of all or part of our business, subject to appropriate confidentiality and lawful handling requirements.

7. Data Retention
We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, including to provide the Services, maintain accurate records, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and comply with legal obligations.
- Contact form and support records: generally retained for up to 24 months after the last interaction, unless a longer period is needed for legal or operational reasons.
- Account, profile, and gameplay records: generally retained while your account is active and for a limited period afterward to complete deletion requests, maintain backups, resolve disputes, or meet legal obligations.
- Security and server logs: generally retained for a limited period necessary for security, fraud prevention, debugging, and system integrity.
8. Data Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information from unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or disclosure. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Your Privacy Rights and Choices
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request access to, correction of, deletion of, or a copy of certain personal information, and to ask us for information about how we use or disclose it.
If applicable law gives you these rights, you may exercise them by contacting michael@rackiq.app. We may need to verify your identity before completing certain requests.
If we rely on consent for a specific processing activity, you may withdraw that consent at any time. If you are in the EEA, UK, or Switzerland, you may also have the right to object to or restrict certain processing and to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

This section applies to California residents and describes our practices during the last 12 months.

Disclosure to third parties
We may disclose the categories above to service providers/processors that help us operate Rack IQ and to legal authorities when required by law. We do not sell personal information, and we do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
California rights
Subject to applicable law, California residents may request to know, access, correct, or delete personal information, and may request information about how we handle personal information. To make a request, email michael@rackiq.app. We will verify requests as reasonably necessary before responding. We will not discriminate against you for exercising applicable privacy rights.
11. Children’s Privacy
Rack IQ is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without legally required consent. If you believe a child under 13 has provided personal information to us, contact michael@rackiq.app and we will review and address the issue.
12. Account Deletion and Data Deletion Requests
If Rack IQ offers account creation, users may request deletion of their account and associated personal data by using the account-deletion pathway made available in the app or by contacting michael@rackiq.app. We may retain limited information where required by law or where necessary for security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, or other lawful business purposes.
When you request deletion, please include enough information for us to identify your account and process the request. If certain data must be retained, we will explain the basis for that retention where required by law.
13. Third-Party Services and SDKs
Our Services may rely on third-party service providers or software development kits to host, secure, authenticate, support, or otherwise operate Rack IQ. If we add new third-party tools that collect or process personal information, we will update this Policy and any required app store disclosures.
14. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the updated version on this page and update the “Last Updated” date above. If changes are materially significant, we may provide additional notice where required by law.
